Korean brokerages are expanding tokenised securities businesses from account management for fractional investing to issuance infrastructure for bonds, funds and other financial products. The Financial Services Commission said it will pursue phased tokenisation of stocks, bonds and funds, starting in February 2027 with private money market funds, private corporate bonds, unlisted shares using trusts and publicly offered fractional investment securities. Firms are building joint platforms and proprietary systems, while overseas examples are also growing.

The value of real-world assets (RWA) on Solana has topped $4 billion, setting a network all-time high. U.Today reported the recent surge coincided with an expansion in tokenised stock supply circulating on Solana. The RWA ecosystem now spans tokenised U.S. Treasury products, listed equities, private credit, reinsurance, commodities, liquidity funds and stablecoin payment infrastructure. Non-stablecoin RWA value rose from $2.01 billion at end-2026 first quarter to $4 billion.
