What harness engineering means as AI coding tools spread
As AI coding tools spread, developers are increasingly using the term \"harness engineering\" to describe designing how AI is directed and used. An Su-bin (안수빈), a research engineer at Asteromorph, defines it as \"giving hands and feet to AI work\". The concept covers structuring tasks through an LLM context window, setting system prompts, using retrieval-augmented generation and calling tools. Related ideas include context engineering, reusable \"skills\" and multi-agent patterns.
