Alibaba unveils HappyHorse 1.0 AI video generation model, tops global leaderboard
Alibaba Group has developed an AI video generation model called HappyHorse 1.0, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday. The model has ranked first since its launch on third-party site Artificial Analysis’ text-to-video conversion leaderboard, the report said. A spokesperson for Alibaba’s newly established AI-focused unit Token Hub said HappyHorse is in internal beta testing and an API will be released soon.

Xiaomi unveils MiMo-V2-Pro 1-trillion-parameter AI model as value draws attention
Xiaomi has unveiled its AI model MiMo-V2-Pro with 1 trillion parameters. VentureBeat said the model offers performance close to U.S. AI companies’ models, including those from OpenAI and Anthropic, at about one-sixth to one-seventh of the cost for usage of up to 256,000 tokens. The model uses a sparse architecture that activates 42 billion parameters per inference and supports a 1 million-token context window.
