Broadcast Media Telecommunications Review Committee appoints Song Yohun as first secretary general
The Broadcast Media Telecommunications Review Committee said on April 15 it appointed former MBC reporter Song Yohun as its first secretary general, effective April 16. Song, born in 1961, joined MBC as a newsroom reporter after graduating from Deoksu Commercial High School and Chung-Ang University, where he studied business administration. At MBC he held posts including head of the reporters\' association and several newsroom leadership roles, and later served at Arirang International Broadcasting.
