Kakao Games adopts non-inclusive wage system, to pay overtime separately
Kakao Games has revamped its wage system by introducing a non-inclusive wage scheme from this month, the industry said on Wednesday. The company scrapped its previous fixed overtime arrangement on April 1 under a wage bargaining agreement with its labour union. Under the new system, overtime, night and holiday work allowances are not included in annual salary in advance and will be calculated and paid separately based on actual hours worked.

Korean game makers seek breakthrough on consoles as mobile growth slows
