Inox Eco M names former LG Chem executive Jung Cheol-geun as CEO to boost silicon anode materials
Inox Eco M appointed battery materials strategy specialist Jung Cheol-geun (정철근) as its new chief executive, the company said on Wednesday. Jung previously led LG Chem’s battery materials business for cathode materials and later headed the South Korean unit of global lithium company Arcadium Lithium. Inox Eco M said it expects him to strengthen competitiveness in its core silicon anode materials business, including Si powder, SiO and SiP, and to accelerate expansion by improving product development and customer responsiveness.
