Jeff Bezos says 2 to 3-year timeline for space data centre is a stretch
Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, said the idea of sending data centres into space is realistic but pushed back against forecasts that it could happen within 2 to 3 years. Speaking in an interview with Andrew Ross Sorkin, Bezos said plans to place data centres in orbit in that timeframe will not be achieved. He did not reject the overall direction, but stressed that short-term schedules discussed in the market may be far from reality.
