U.S. warns EU over big tech curbs, says bloc could fall behind in AI economy
The United States has publicly pushed back against the European Union’s tougher regulation of big tech, warning it risks leaving the bloc behind in the AI economy. U.S. Ambassador to the EU Andrew Puzder told CNBC the EU should withdraw excessive curbs on U.S. tech giants and ease rules to access data centres and AI hardware.
