Cerebras shares fall 14 percent after second earnings report since IPO

AI chip company Cerebras Systems raised its core revenue outlook for the current quarter and lifted its full-year forecast, but its shares fell about 14 percent in after-hours trading after its earnings report. The company guided quarterly core revenue of $214 million to $216 million, up from $210 million in the second quarter. It posted a second-quarter net loss of $450.5 million, citing stock-based compensation costs.
