Anam145 appoints former ITCEN Global vice president Choi Joong-geun as adviser
Web3 cybersecurity firm Anam145 said on May 7 it has appointed Choi Joong-geun (최중근), a former vice president at ITCEN Global, as an adviser. The company said Choi, a co-founding member of ITCEN Group, took part in efforts including the acquisition of Korea Gold Exchange and participation in a Busan digital asset exchange consortium. Anam145 said he will support the company’s growth as adviser.

Woori Financial to find and support startups outside Seoul
Woori Financial Group said it held launch events from Jan. 21 to 22 for the second DinoLab Busan cohort and the third DinoLab Gyeongnam cohort. The group said it is seeking shared growth with local economies by providing productive financing to innovative firms in Busan and South Gyeongsang. It said DinoLab has backed 219 companies through about 400 billion won in direct and indirect investment and linked more than 60 partnerships.

ANAM145 begins design of anti-tampering security chip
South Korean cybersecurity deep-tech company ANAM145 said on Jan. 16 it has entered the full design phase for an anti-tampering security chip intended to prevent the leakage of national core technologies. Anti-tampering is a hardware security technology that automatically disables key data and functions when systems or chips are physically dismantled or manipulated. The company said hardware-level security is drawing renewed attention because software encryption alone is insufficient against offline physical analysis and cloning.
