AWS introduces AI agent access for Amazon WorkSpaces Applications
Amazon Web Services said on July 7 it will launch a feature that lets AI agents access and run desktop applications through Amazon WorkSpaces Applications. It said agents can connect through a managed WorkSpaces environment to carry out tasks in desktop apps. Agents interact via a managed Model Context Protocol service endpoint, are authenticated through AWS Identity and Access Management, and activity is logged in AWS CloudTrail and Amazon CloudWatch for auditing and tracking.
