OpenAI to take advance reservations for AI compute, launches \'Guaranteed Capacity\' for enterprises
OpenAI has launched a \'Guaranteed Capacity\' programme that allows enterprise customers to secure computing infrastructure in advance for up to 3 years. The offer targets companies running large workloads that require uninterrupted compute and can request capacity exceeding 1 billion tokens per minute. Pricing varies by contract term and annual spending. CEO Sam Altman (샘 알트먼) said the programme reflects customer feedback and will be available only until allotted capacity is used up.

CNBC reported OpenAI revised parts of its Oracle-linked plan tied to the Stargate data centre near Abilene, Texas, and is considering larger systems elsewhere. Oracle called the report false. Oracle, OpenAI scrap Texas data centre expansion, seek other locations
Oracle and OpenAI have withdrawn plans to expand their data centre campus in Abilene, Texas, the Financial Times reported. The companies had been negotiating with developer Crusoe to increase the campus by 600 megawatts, including at least 2 OpenAI-only buildings, while a 1.2 gigawatt build is under way. OpenAI executive Sachin Katti said added capacity will be deployed in other locations and that more than 6 sites are being developed.
