AT&T, AWS and Amazon Leo partner to modernise U.S. telecoms infrastructure
AT&T, Amazon Web Services and Amazon Leo will cooperate to accelerate modernisation of U.S. telecoms infrastructure and support next-generation cloud innovation for U.S. companies, they said on March 12. The companies plan to build future connectivity solutions by combining AT&T’s fibre network with AWS security and AI. AT&T will migrate some on-premises workloads to AWS Outposts, connect AWS data centres with high-capacity fibre and work with Amazon Leo to expand broadband services.
