Grayscale launches in-kind transfers for crypto ETPs covering BTC, XRP and others

Asset manager Grayscale has introduced an in-kind transfer feature that allows investors to exchange cryptocurrencies they hold for shares of its exchange-traded products without converting them into cash. The feature initially applies to 10 Grayscale crypto ETPs, covering products linked to bitcoin, ethereum, solana, XRP and others. Minimum investment amounts vary by product and stock price. Grayscale said the approach can reduce self-custody burdens and transaction costs.

Charles Schwab expands direct bitcoin and ether trading to all eligible U.S. retail clients, fee 0.75 percent

U.S. brokerage Charles Schwab has expanded its direct trading service for bitcoin and ether to all retail clients who meet U.S. eligibility requirements. Schwab opened Schwab Crypto spot trading for the two tokens to its full customer base after offering it to some clients in May. The brokerage charges a 0.75 percent fee per trade, with order sizes from $1 to $2 million, and the service is unavailable to clients outside the United States.

Charles Hoskinson renews call for Gemini to list ADA

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson renewed his call for cryptocurrency exchange Gemini to list ADA. U.Today reported that he left a brief comment, \'List ADA\', on an X post by Gemini co-founder Tyler Winklevoss marking the exchange\'s 11th anniversary. Gemini supports several major proof-of-stake tokens, but not ADA. Hoskinson has repeatedly criticised the absence of ADA and has claimed Gemini missed revenue opportunities by not offering it.
