ARobot to build integrated R&D and manufacturing hub in Ansan Science Valley
Humanoid robot specialist ARobot will build an integrated building combining research and development and manufacturing functions in Ansan Science Valley (ASV) in the Gyeonggi Free Economic Zone. The company said it will sign an investment agreement with the Gyeonggi Free Economic Zone Authority, Hanyang University and Ansan city. ARobot plans to concentrate R&D and production capabilities at the site and build a locally based supply chain tied to parts suppliers in the Sihwa and Banwol industrial complexes.

Ndotlight raises 15 billion won to expand 3D data for robot training
Physical AI data company Ndotlight said on Tuesday it raised 15 billion won in funding. The round was led by KDB Industrial Bank, with follow-on participation from existing investors Naver D2SF, IMM Investment and Capstone Partners. NH Venture Investment, OurCrowd and Stonebridge joined as new investors. Ndotlight will use the proceeds to upgrade its generative CAD engine and physical-property database and expand integrations with Nvidia Isaac Sim and Omniverse workflows.

Kwon Dae-young says National Growth Fund may consider startups for next investments
Kwon Dae-young (권대영), vice chairman of South Korea’s Financial Services Commission, said startups are being considered as the National Growth Fund’s next investment destination. Speaking after opening remarks at NextRise Seoul 2026 in Seoul, he said participating firms are targets of the fund. He also said 150 trillion won would be invested in advanced strategic industries and urged overseas institutional investors to pay attention to the KOSDAQ market.
