Naver Cloud launches ACME automatic certificate management feature
Naver Cloud said on May 7 it will launch a new security feature called ACME that automatically manages certificates. The company said ACME, short for Automated Certificate Management Environment, is an international standard protocol that automatically issues, renews and revokes SSL/TLS certificates that prove the safety of network communications. The feature is available through Naver Cloud Platform’s Certificate Manager service, and supports open-source clients and automated renewal for OV certificates.

Annual $25 paid weather app Acme Weather unveiled
A team that developed the Dark Sky weather app has introduced a new forecasting app, Acme Weather, TechCrunch reported on Feb. 23. The app aims to improve accuracy by offering multiple alternative predictions rather than a single best forecast. It draws on its own forecasts as well as other weather models, satellite data, ground observations and radar information. Acme Weather will be a $25-a-year subscription app with a two-week free trial.
