KAIST fails to appoint 18th president, decides to reopen search
KAIST failed to appoint its next president. The university\'s board of directors held a meeting on Feb. 26 and voted to select the 18th president, but no candidate met the threshold of winning a majority of attending directors, KAIST said. The board discussed three finalists, including incumbent President Kwang-hyung Lee, professor Jung-ho Kim and former UNIST president Yong-hoon Lee. KAIST will reopen the search process.
