A rider has disclosed real-world long-term use of an electric bicycle after logging more than 10,000 miles, drawing attention to durability and upkeep. The rider bought Ride1Up’s Prodigy V2 for $1,595 in March 2023 and used it almost daily. The report says the frame, fork and Brose motor remained normal, battery capacity stayed above 80 percent, and total maintenance cost was about $295.

Apple may delay the launch of the standard iPhone 18 to spring 2027, SiliconANGLE reported, citing MacRumors. The report attributed the possible delay to development issues involving display and camera technologies. The iPhone 18 is expected to place Face ID and the camera under the display to create an uninterrupted screen, but technical challenges are larger than expected. Pro models are expected to be updated annually.

February CEX trading volume hits 15-month low, DEX share rises

Global spot trading volume on centralized cryptocurrency exchanges totalled about $1.13 trillion in December, the lowest level since September 2024, The Block reported. The figure was down 32% from November and 49% from October. Binance led exchange volumes, followed by Bybit, HTX, Gate and Coinbase. Decentralized exchanges also saw lower volumes, but their share of overall crypto trading rose to 17.95%, Cointelegraph reported.
