Deutsche Bank, NHN KCP selected as official payment service provider for Henkel Consumer Brands Korea

NHN KCP said on Tuesday it has been selected, together with German financial institution Deutsche Bank, as the official domestic payment service provider for Henkel Consumer Brands Korea. Under the contract, the two will provide payment gateway services on Henkel’s B2B platform used to order products from key beauty brands. They said they plan to expand their linked payment solutions to other companies and merchant networks.

Cafe24 daily delivery doubles purchase conversion rate for small online malls

Cafe24 said on Tuesday that brands using its Daily Delivery service doubled their purchase conversion rates. A survey of malls that used the service for at least seven days showed early-stage D2C brands with fewer than 1,000 monthly visitors increased conversion to 2.99 percent from 1.48 percent. Conversion also rose for larger malls. Orders and conversion improved most for household goods and food. The company said Friday orders rose 40.2 percent at malls using the service for at least 30 days.

Wall Street ends slightly higher on buying after Powell investigation news

Wall Street’s three main indexes finished modestly higher on Monday, supported by strong bargain buying. The Trump administration opened an investigation into Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell that could lead to criminal charges, raising concerns about Fed independence. Powell said he had received a grand jury subpoena and threats of prosecution. Alphabet rose 1 percent, closing above a $4 trillion market value for the first time. Investors are awaiting December CPI and big bank results.
