Data centre semiconductor specialist Fadu is taking its strategy for easing storage bottlenecks to the international stage as demand for AI infrastructure surges. Fadu said on July 30 it will deliver a keynote at the semiconductor exhibition FMS (Future of Memory and Storage) 2026, held in Santa Clara, California, from Aug. 4 to 6, under the theme “The Future of AI Storage: From Silicon Innovation to Hyperscale Efficiency.”
The speech will be led by CEO Lee Hyun-nam (남이현) and President Lee Ji-hyo (이지효), joined by Sandisk senior engineer Ross Stenfort. The two Fadu executives will share a vision for developing core storage system technologies to meet surging AI infrastructure demand and progress in next-generation Gen6 SSD development. They will also cover practical advantages in hyperscale environments of a design approach that secures throughput, latency and power efficiency at the same time.
Stenfort will look at how, over the past 2 years, high-capacity NAND flash and observability technology that tracks storage device status in real time have been driving innovation in the flash market to meet AI data centre needs. That comes as rapid growth in AI and machine learning demands unprecedented levels of storage performance, power efficiency and heat management, making deep, ecosystem-wide collaboration essential.
Fadu will participate in this year’s FMS as a top-tier “Executive Premier” company. At its booth, it will showcase Gen6 and Gen5 controllers, servers applying AI storage, power solutions and liquid cooling systems. It will display a physical Gen6 SSD for the first time at this year’s event and will also run a Gen6 performance demonstration and an AI storage demonstration.
