Global AI agent startup Liner said on Wednesday it has launched an investment market research AI agent, "Liner Finance".

Liner Finance is a service that collects and structures corporate disclosures, the latest news and market data to help investors understand companies and market trends. It provides information on U.S. and South Korean stocks and related exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and can be used on the web and on mobile apps.

It visualises company-by-company financials, earnings, dividends, and news and disclosure information by category. AI also selects and provides macro and micro indicators linked to a company. Key information is updated about every 20 minutes.

It also offers a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)-based "Guru Mode" that reflects the investment philosophies of Warren Buffett and Peter Lynch. Based on public materials, it is a feature that shows AI reasoning on how a specific investing master would analyse a company. It also provides original sources for each answer sentence to improve the reliability of information. On the web, users can check sources at the sentence level.

Liner Finance can be run directly within the Liner service. It supports both web and mobile apps. Any global user who needs information on the two countries' stock markets can use it.

Liner Chief Executive Jinwoo Kim (김진우) said, "Of the gaps between individual investors and institutional investors, the one technology can narrow the fastest is the ability to read information." He added, "Liner Finance is a service that structures scattered information into a form even beginners can understand, helping users read the market and make their own judgments."
