FunPlus opens preorders for sci-fi strategy RPG 'Foundation: Galactic Frontier' ahead of March 27 launch

Global game publisher FunPlus said on Monday it will take preorders for 'Foundation: Galactic Frontier', a mobile and PC cross-platform sci-fi strategy role-playing game co-developed with Paramount, ahead of its full service launch. Preorders are available on Google Play, Apple’s App Store and Mac. The game is set for an official South Korean release on March 27. It is based on Isaac Asimov’s 'Foundation' and covers the main story between seasons 2 and 3 of Apple TV+’s drama of the same name.

NH NongHyup Financial designates first Financial Consumer Protection Day

NH NongHyup Financial said it has designated a Financial Consumer Protection Day, the first by a financial holding company, and held a commemorative event. It plans to make the first business day of the week that includes March 15, World Consumer Rights Day, its protection day and operate the week as Financial Consumer Protection Week. The event included staff messaging and online training, and awards for top-performing subsidiaries.

Kakao Entertainment co-CEO Jang Yoon-jung named to Billboard Global Power Players list

Kakao Entertainment said on March 10 that its co-CEO Jang Yoon-jung was selected for Billboard's 2026 Global Power Players list. The list, released on March 9 local time, recognises influential leaders outside the United States who lead the global music market. Kakao Entertainment said Jang has been selected five times since 2021. It said it will focus capabilities on global and platform businesses centred on IP.
