XRP is a hyper-liquid asset; Hyperliquid analysis draws attention

XRP has become a “hyper-liquid” asset in the cryptocurrency market, and only 1 percent of investors understand it, an analysis said. XRP commentator Mason Versluis wrote “XRP = hyper liquid,” drawing an immediate market response. Some see XRP as central to institutional liquidity and a link between traditional finance and digital assets. Attention has also focused on Hyperliquid’s rapid growth, with daily trading topping $1.2 billion as WTI futures volume surged.

Ark Invest says quantum computing is still far from breaking Bitcoin, outlines five-stage threat

Quantum computing is unlikely to trigger a sudden “Q-day” that quickly undermines Bitcoin security, an analysis said, arguing that progress is likely to be gradual and allow time to adapt. A joint white paper by Ark Invest and Unchained rated current quantum technology at “level 0” and proposed a five-stage framework for assessing risk. It estimated Bitcoin decryption would require at least 2,330 logical qubits and tens of millions to billions of quantum gate operations.

NHRC urges review of mandatory face authentication for mobile phone activations

South Korea's National Human Rights Commission said on March 13 it recommended that the science and ICT minister review a policy to make facial authentication mandatory for mobile phone activations and prepare alternative methods. The Ministry of Science and ICT is pushing the plan for mobile carriers and budget carriers as financial scams such as voice phishing using illegal phones become a social issue. A pilot began on Dec. 23 and implementation is set for March 23.
