Com2uS said on Jan. 26 it is recruiting the 15th class of its official university supporters, Com2uS Player, for students interested in content creation and the games industry. The programme, launched in 2019, has tracks for content PD and content editor roles. Applicants must be university students living in South Korea, with preference for those skilled in trends and AI tools. Selected supporters will work from March to August and receive benefits including activity stipends and awards.

Naver on Jan. 26 started an open beta for Thingsbook, a new UGC platform targeting the North American market. The company said it is expanding its challenge in social networking alongside services such as Webtoon, Wattpad, Band and Poshmark. Thingsbook is a text-based platform focused on records and personal tastes, enabling users to build collections and communicate with others based on shared interests. Naver said it improved stability and key features after a closed beta that ran for 3 months from October last year.
