Hyperion to expand options income using HYPE as collateral

Hyperion DeFi Inc, a Hyperliquid digital-asset treasury company, is pursuing an options-collateral strategy using its HYPE holdings. According to a recent report by The Block, CFO David Knox said the goal is to generate premium and fee income by providing options collateral, excluding directional trading or speculation. The company said it plans to build a transparent on-chain options vault with the Rysk protocol and later open it to institutional HYPE holders.

Fidelity launches FIDD stablecoin for retail and institutional investors

Fidelity Investments has launched a U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin, Fidelity Digital Dollar (FIDD), and opened it to retail and institutional investors. According to a recent report by The Block, Fidelity Digital Assets issues FIDD on the Ethereum network. Investors can buy and redeem it at $1 via Fidelity’s platform, trade it on listed external crypto exchanges, and send it to an Ethereum mainnet address. Fidelity Management & Research manages the reserve assets.

Bitnomial lists first U.S. futures on Tezos blockchain

U.S. derivatives exchange Bitnomial has launched the first regulated, approved futures product on Tezos’ native token XTZ. Tezos was first proposed in 2014 and raised $232 million through an ICO in 2017. Bitnomial, founded in 2014, offers regulated digital asset spot and derivatives trading and has listed products including XRP futures, physically delivered Solana futures and, most recently, Aptos futures.
