KB Kookmin Bank supports laptops for 132 disabled university freshmen
KB Kookmin Bank held a handover ceremony on May 11 at the Irum Center in Yeongdeungpo district, Seoul, and delivered the latest-model laptops to disabled young university students, it said on Tuesday. The programme was designed to help students who face academic difficulties due to financial burdens and limited access to information. The bank has continued the project with the Korea Federation of Organizations of the Disabled since 2009.

Woori Financial F&I raises 185 billion won via corporate bonds
Woori Financial Group's non-performing loan (NPL) investment specialist Woori Financial F&I said on Monday it raised 185 billion won through a public offering of corporate bonds. The sale was held on May 8. The company increased the deal size from a planned 100 billion won after demand forecasting drew more than 1 trillion won. The bonds have maturities of 1.5, 2 and 3 years.

Shinhan Bank expands financing support for Kia sales network, launches BaaS-based platform loans
Shinhan Bank will expand financial support for Kia’s nationwide Auto Q service centers and sales dealerships through a Banking as a Service-based platform. The bank said it signed an agreement with Kia at Kia360 in Seoul on May 11 and will launch a platform-based loan product. The initiative aims to build digital financial infrastructure, link financial and non-financial data, simplify loan procedures and provide tailored services and on-site support.
