Kakao recruits fourth cohort for Kakao Tech Campus to train regional talent

Kakao said on Tuesday it has begun recruiting trainees for the fourth cohort of its Kakao Tech Campus programme to train regional university students as artificial intelligence developers. The company will select 150 students from five national hub universities, including Kangwon National University and Pusan National University. The programme integrates frontend and backend tracks and adds a course on agentic AI services. Applications run through April 15, with classes starting online in May.

Shinhan Bank runs 11pay account-linking event with 11st

Shinhan Bank said on Tuesday it will run an '11pay Shinhan Bank account-linking event' with 11st through May 31. The event targets customers who have not used a Shinhan Bank account linked to 11pay for payments in the past year. Participants can receive discount coupons of up to 15,000 won. Separately, the bank will offer up to 2 percent of purchase amounts as 11pay points through Dec. 31.
