Box raises annual revenue forecast but market unmoved

Box posted first-quarter results that slightly beat expectations, but investors reacted coolly. Shares fell 2 percent in after-hours trading after the earnings release. The cloud-based collaboration platform reported adjusted earnings per share of 37 cents on revenue of $305.9 million. Net income rose to $17.7 million from $8.1 million a year earlier. Box raised its fiscal 2027 revenue forecast to $1.28 billion.

Remote HR platform reaches $300 million ARR; payroll solution grows 300 percent

Global HR platform Remote said on May 27 its global payroll solution grew 300 percent last year from a year earlier and its annual recurring revenue reached $300 million. It also posted positive cash flow. Remote provides HR services for global hiring and workforce management, supporting employer of record, global payroll and contractor management across more than 100 countries through its own local entities. It is expanding access to its infrastructure for partners, customers, developers and AI agents.
