Hana Bank has launched the Hana Real Estate Value-Up Platform to support the use and development of commercial and ageing properties.

Hana Bank said on Sept. 3 it is starting full operations of the platform, which diagnoses real estate assets and connects customers with specialist firms by field to provide tailored solutions.

To that end, it signed a strategic business agreement with five real estate-related specialist companies on Sept. 2 at its Euljiro headquarters in Seoul.

The partners are Kyungdong Housing, a building remodelling and value-up specialist contractor; The PCM Advisor, a real estate development and project management company; MGRV, operator of the co-living brand Mangrove; Shareit, a commercial idle-space solutions company; and Fastfive, a shared office company.

Hana Bank analyses the location, characteristics and intended use of customers' properties and then connects them with suitable partners at each stage, including planning, design, construction, leasing and space operations.

It plans to provide a comprehensive real estate asset management service that goes beyond simple buying and selling advice to diagnose ways to use idle properties or ageing assets and link them to development and operations.

Lee Eun-jung (이은정), head of Hana Bank's WM division, said, "We will expand cooperation with specialist companies in various fields in the future to respond to customers' complex real estate needs."
