Generative AI solutions company Xenon said on Wednesday its separate first-half sales were 11.76 billion won, up 331 percent from 2.73 billion won a year earlier.
Operating profit for the first half was 2.2 billion won, more than three times its full-year operating profit of 700 million won last year. The operating margin was 18.7 percent, up 12.7 percentage points from 6 percent for the full year last year.
Xenon said rising demand for corporate AI transformation (AX) and an expansion of projects centered on the financial sector drove the growth. It also said expanding its financial-sector business based on its in-house AX platform, GenOS, and broadening its customer base into new industries such as pharmaceuticals contributed to higher sales.
Xenon supports companies in building AX, from establishing AI strategy to development, deployment and operations.
Xenon CEO Seok-tae Ko (고석태) said, "We have focused on implementing technology and services so that AI can be used in actual customer tasks and deliver results." He added, "We will strengthen our competitiveness in the enterprise AX business."
