[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Publisher Sphere In said on Sept. 1 it has released “If You Work, Like Lee Jae-myung,” written by Lee Nam-hoon (이남훈), which analyses President Lee Jae-myung’s “way of working” as a self-improvement case study.
The publisher said the book explains the president’s problem-solving approach, language of persuasion, execution and crisis response in a way that office workers and general readers can apply to their jobs.
The author approached President Lee Jae-myung as a self-improvement case study by analysing how he solves problems and produces results, rather than viewing him only as an object of political evaluation. The publisher said it is not a book meant to support or judge any particular politician, but a practical guide that covers hands-on know-how for setting goals, solving problems and persuading people to deliver results.
Across 4 parts, the book analyses specific examples including ways of thinking that identify what matters, persuasive language that considers the other side’s interests first, execution methods that break big tasks into smaller ones and connect them to results, and resilience that turns crises into a foothold for growth.
Lee said, “President Lee Jae-myung has often described himself as ‘a tool of the people’,” adding, “I wrote this book thinking it is also perfectly fine for us, the people, to use him as a tool for self-improvement.”
