[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang (황치규)] Zoom Communications’ shares fell 3 percent after its fourth-quarter results missed expectations, SiliconANGLE reported on Feb. 25 (local time).
Zoom’s fourth-quarter revenue rose 5.3 percent to $1.247 billion, slightly above analysts’ estimates, but adjusted earnings per share were $1.44, below the forecast of $1.49.
Its fiscal 2027 first-quarter outlook also missed analyst estimates, with adjusted earnings per share of $1.40 to $1.42 and revenue of $1.22 billion to $1.225 billion.
Zoom is pushing to shift beyond simple video meetings into a comprehensive work platform. It recently launched AI Companion 3.0 and introduced automated workflows and a low-code agent builder.
