Wert Intelligence said on Wednesday it launched Keywert Insight, an AI technology and research platform based on patent and science and technology data.
Keywert Insight is designed to carry out technology exploration, competitor analysis, tracking market trends and generating reports using only natural-language input. Based on patent data from 106 countries worldwide, it applies a meaning-centred search method that goes beyond simple keyword searches to understand technological context and similar concepts.
At its core is PlutoLM, a patent-specialised AI model trained on 170 million patents, 250 billion patent sentences and 1.6 billion patent drawings. It can recognise similar technology concepts and technical terms when searching for a specific technology and derive related technologies, growth technologies and major companies in a comprehensive way. Another feature is that it applies a patent data-based analysis structure to minimise information distortion and hallucination, or AI errors, that can occur during technology research.
Until now, patent data has been written around legal and technical terms, making it difficult for researchers or strategy staff who are not patent experts to use directly. Wert Intelligence aims to lower this entry barrier and shorten the time required for technology analysis and decision-making through Keywert Insight.
Wert Intelligence CEO Jeongho Yoon (윤정호) said, "What companies need is not more information but faster and more accurate technology decisions." He added, "We will support R&D and IP organisations so they can identify promising technologies faster and pre-emptively secure them."
