NH NongHyup Capital said on Monday it plans to fully pursue an expansion of customer-centric non-face-to-face services and an AI transition in 2026.

NH NongHyup Capital said it improved the UI and UX of its mobile app and website last year to overhaul the digital channel user environment. It also unified the authentication system for the NH Financial super-platform and expanded the scope of using public MyData and financial MyData.

It also said it worked to strengthen employee capabilities by expanding digital and AI training, operating an in-house professional certification programme called DT-Master for digital specialists, and running internal and external training and contests based on generative AI. It said the number of DT-Masters rose 40 percent from a year earlier.

Based on these results, it is verifying the feasibility of using generative AI across work areas. It plans to gradually expand the scope of application based on the verification results and to further strengthen customer digital services such as applications to request interest-rate reductions and issuance of debt certificates by continuing to upgrade its mobile app and website.

NH NongHyup Capital said it will make 2026 the first year of generative AI expansion. It plans to accelerate digital innovation by expanding AI capability programmes for employees, identifying generative AI use cases and building a platform that can be used for work, and establishing a governance system to respond to the AI basic law.

CEO Jang Jong-hwan said, "In 2025, we laid the foundation for upgrading digital channels and introducing AI to improve customer convenience and strengthen internal work efficiency." He said, "In 2026, based on verified results, we will gradually expand the scope of customer non-face-to-face services and AI use to 추진 leading digital transformation."
