Choi Woo-hyung (최우형), CEO of K Bank, won a second term after being recognised for stabilising the organisation and his ability to drive business strategy.

K Bank’s Executive Candidate Recommendation Committee on Feb. 26 disclosed it recommended Choi as the next CEO.

The committee said it comprehensively reviewed Choi’s career and management performance during his tenure and concluded he has experience and expertise across the broader financial sector. It also said he shares the bank’s vision and is the right person to faithfully implement principles of public interest and sound management.

It also assessed him as having the qualities required of a top executive, including management capabilities, a strategic mindset, character and leadership. It said it particularly valued his performance during his tenure, organisational stabilisation and ability to 추진 business strategy.

The agenda item to recommend a CEO candidate was passed with all 5 incumbent committee members voting in favour. It is expected to be finalised after a shareholders’ meeting procedure at the end of March.
