Justem, a semiconductor humidity-control solutions company, said on Monday it has won an additional order from Samsung Electronics for its second-generation humidity-control solution, JFS (Jet Flow Straightener). It will supply 310 systems, about six times the initial delivery made in December, a month earlier, of 50 systems.

As global integrated device manufacturers focus on improving HBM performance and increasing production, the need for JFS is growing. The company stressed that the large additional order placed just a month after the initial shipment came because JFS has proven its process stability and operating efficiency.

Justem said it will expand its market into the foundry segment starting with this order. It said the importance of humidity control is rising in foundry processes, where nano-scale microprocessing is essential. Justem said it is in talks with companies related to supplying the foundry sector.

Justem is also pursuing entry into new overseas markets, including Japan. The company said it is in discussions with new semiconductor manufacturers in Japan on technical cooperation and supply for its existing first-generation nitrogen (N2) purge-type solution, along with the spread of the second-generation JFS.

Justem Vice President Donggeun Na said, "As the trend of expanded HBM investment and the advancement of cutting-edge foundry processes continues at the same time, we expect steady orders in 2026." He said, "As JFS is a solution that improves yield, the need among global semiconductor companies will grow further."
