Remote solutions company RSUPPORT said on Tuesday it will provide its key remote solutions free of charge to support the recovery of areas hit by the 2026 Kumamoto earthquake.
The support is aimed at providing practical help for the swift recovery of areas struggling due to the disaster. RSUPPORT also provided remote solutions free of charge to local educational institutions during heavy rains that hit Kumamoto Prefecture in 2020 and delivered donations to some schools.
Companies, local governments and organisations in affected areas can immediately use three remote solutions free of charge depending on the disaster situation and work purpose. RSUPPORT plans to simplify procedures so companies and institutions in disaster-hit areas can quickly apply for support and use the services, while strengthening initial setup and usage guidance to increase practical use.
Seo Hyung-soo (서형수), RSUPPORT's chief executive, said, "Remote technology is an important infrastructure that connects people and organisations, and the field and headquarters, in situations where physical movement is restricted due to disasters. RSUPPORT will continue to put its social responsibility into practice in the way it does best, not only for recovery from this earthquake but also to help restore operations in disaster-hit areas and strengthen community resilience going forward."
