Payment platform Decta is pursuing a plan to introduce the USDC stablecoin for its international treasury settlement work.
Cointelegraph reported on Aug. 11 that Decta plans to convert company funds into USDC through OpenPayd infrastructure and use it for international operational settlements.
Decta focuses on internal treasury operations rather than customer payment services. It plans to move its funds onto OpenPayd’s regulated infrastructure and convert them into USDC through over-the-counter trading functions for use in international operational settlements.
Decta said the integration would process fund transfers between overseas entities faster and improve liquidity management and treasury operations. Scott Dawson (스콧 도슨), chief executive of Decta UK, said it wants technology that keeps existing controls and its compliance stance while making financial operations faster, simpler and more stable.
Decta was founded in London in 2015. It provides financial infrastructure to companies, including payment processing, acquiring, card issuing and banking, and operates in 32 countries.
