XRP spot exchange-traded funds returned to net inflows after a single day. XRP spot ETFs recorded net inflows of $3.45 million, recouping much of the weakness from the prior session.

On Aug. 7 (local time), $3.58 million left XRP spot ETFs in the previous session, blockchain media outlet The Crypto Basic reported. It was the first net outflow since July 8. A day later, flows reversed as money returned, led by Bitwise and Franklin Templeton.

The net inflow was driven by the two asset managers. Bitwise's XRP spot ETF took in $2.89 million, and Franklin Templeton's XRPZ recorded inflows of $561,560. No other XRP spot ETFs posted net inflows or outflows on the day. Bitwise had also absorbed the entire $3.58 million net outflow that occurred on Aug. 5.

On a cumulative basis, Bitwise is the largest at $510.21 million. Canary followed with $468.12 million, and Franklin Templeton recorded $426.53 million. There was a recent one-day outflow, but in the overall trend, institutional money still remains in XRP spot ETFs.

The broader crypto spot ETF market also extended positive flows the same day. Bitcoin spot ETFs recorded net inflows of $128.69 million, with BlackRock accounting for most of it after bringing in $128.33 million. VanEck saw outflows of $32.77 million and Valkyrie had $9.07 million leave, offsetting part of the inflows.

Ether spot ETFs also recorded net inflows of $92.15 million. Institutional buying continued, extending the recent inflow trend. Among major crypto spot ETFs, only Solana spot ETFs posted a negative figure, with net outflows of $859,450.

Despite the fund flows, XRP prices lagged the broader market. XRP slipped 0.11 percent over 24 hours to around $1.03 and was down 4.27 percent over the past seven days. Over the same period, bitcoin rose 0.18 percent on the day to around $64,900 and was up 2.72 percent over seven days. Ether traded near $1,912 and was up 2.23 percent over the past seven days.

ETF money flowed back in even as XRP prices stayed weak. The latest flows showed institutional investors continuing to increase exposure to XRP regardless of short-term prices. Attention will be on whether the recovery in flows concentrated in Bitwise spreads to other XRP spot ETFs, and whether cumulative net inflows continue despite the price weakness.
