A ticket and accommodation integrated platform is targeting foreign travellers visiting South Korea. Nolyuniverse said on Monday it has added a domestic accommodation booking service to its travel platform for foreign tourists, NOL World (놀 월드).
NOL World offers foreign customers about 15,000 accommodations nationwide owned by Nolyuniverse. Users can book by type, including hotels, small and mid-sized hotels and resorts, and use the service together with existing travel content such as performances, exhibitions and activities. This allows overseas users to complete preparations for travel in South Korea on a single platform, while domestic partner properties can secure new sales opportunities targeting NOL World's cumulative 9.4 million members.
Nolyuniverse has expanded foreign tourists' travel experiences in South Korea through its Play&Stay (플레이&스테이) products that combine performances and accommodation. By adding a standalone accommodation booking function this time, it has expanded from a ticket-focused service to a platform spanning accommodation and travel content.
Nolyuniverse CEO Lee Cheol-woong (이철웅) said, "As global demand for travel to South Korea continues to grow steadily, it is important to create an environment where domestic travel partners can meet overseas customers more easily." He added, "We plan to continue expanding diverse content and services specialised in travel to South Korea and focus on enhancing the global competitiveness of the domestic tourism industry."
