Woori Bank has launched four mobile plans for users of unlocked Galaxy smartphones, offering Samsung Wallet points and mobile bill discounts. Depending on the plan, it pays up to 25,000 points a month for 24 months.

Woori Bank said on Sunday it launched four “Woori Samsung Wallet Money SIM-only plans” through its mobile brand, Woori WON Mobile, on July 28.

Subscribers who register an unlocked Galaxy smartphone receive up to 25,000 Samsung Wallet points a month for up to 24 months, depending on the plan. Receiving 25,000 points a month for 24 months totals 600,000 points, worth up to 600,000 won.

Customers who register a Woori Bank account for the Samsung Wallet Money service also receive a 1,100 won monthly mobile bill discount. For the first 2 months after signing up, the discount applies without additional conditions.

The line-up comprises four plans: “5G 125GB+”, “5G 95GB+”, “5G 50GB+” and “100GB+”.

It is also running a launch event. The offer is open to customers aged 19 or older who buy an unlocked “Galaxy Z Fold8” or “Galaxy Z Flip8” handset by Sept. 30. After buying the handset, customers who complete information registration and entry will receive a 50,000 won CU mobile gift certificate through a draw.

Hee-geun Park (박희근), head of the WON Mobile business division at Woori Bank, said, “We planned these plans to ease the burden of buying a handset and help customers receive benefits over the period of use, in line with consumer trends toward choosing unlocked smartphones.”
