[DigitalToday reporter Ji-young Lee] K Bank is running a summer promotion featuring a “make mango bingsu” event in which customers can take part daily to receive cash and prizes. It is also holding a discount event for new customers tied to Dongdaemun Yupgi Tteokbokki.
K Bank said on Thursday it will run the “make mango bingsu” event through Aug. 31.
Customers who have a K Bank demand deposit account or ALPHA, a financial service for teenagers, can participate once a day on the event page. Each participation immediately pays a random cash amount of 1 to 5 won, and 10 participations complete 1 mango bingsu.
During the event period, customers can make multiple mango bingsu through repeated participation. After the event ends, K Bank will select 100 customers by lottery from those who completed at least 1 mango bingsu and pay 130,000 won, with more entries for those who complete more.
Customers who do not complete a mango bingsu will also be eligible for lottery benefits based on progress. K Bank will pay 30,000 won to 500 customers with a completion rate of at least 50 percent and 10,000 won to 1,000 customers with a completion rate of at least 30 percent.
K Bank is also running a discount event for new sign-ups tied to Dongdaemun Yupgi Tteokbokki. Through Aug. 9, it will randomly provide 1 discount coupon worth 14,000 won, 7,000 won or 5,000 won to customers who sign up for K Bank through a dedicated event link.
A K Bank official said, "We prepared this event so customers can participate easily and have fun while receiving benefits." The official added, "We will continue to introduce a variety of seasonal events."
