Initech, AIworks and Hypernology said on July 28 they signed a business agreement aimed at building an “AI alliance” combining industrial artificial intelligence (AI), generative AI and financial information technology (IT) capabilities.

The 3 companies plan to combine their industrial AI, generative AI and financial IT build-and-operations capabilities to jointly identify new AI-based business opportunities across industries including manufacturing, finance and the public sector. They also plan to provide AI services that companies can use in actual field settings.

Key cooperation areas include jointly 추진ing AI-based industrial intelligence projects, jointly commercialising generative AI and AI agent platforms, AI-based digital transformation consulting, developing services that combine industrial AI and financial IT, upgrading AI service security and operating systems, and jointly expanding into domestic and overseas AI markets.

Hypernology provides industrial intelligence solutions, including quality inspection at manufacturing sites, industrial safety and facility diagnostics, based on AI vision and industrial AI technologies. AIworks develops AI agents that carry out corporate tasks and provides AI solutions that verify whether those agents operate reliably in real service environments.

Initech will provide an AI service operating environment based on financial IT service build-and-operations capabilities it has accumulated through system integration (SI) projects and application service provider (ASP) service operations mainly for the financial sector.

Through the agreement, the 3 companies will build a cooperation framework covering the full AI service lifecycle, from industrial field data collection to AI analysis, generative AI-based work innovation, service build and operations, and reliability verification.

Young-ho Shin (신영호), head of Initech’s Corporate Financial IT Division, said the agreement goes beyond simple technical cooperation and serves as a starting point for an AI alliance that connects industrial AI, generative AI and financial IT build-and-operations capabilities. He said the companies will continue to introduce AI services that customers can feel in real business settings by combining their expertise.
