AI and data-based HR tech platform group Workspia said on July 28 it has obtained the ISO/IEC 27001 international standard information security certification and the ISO/IEC 27701 personal information protection certification.

ISO/IEC 27001 is an international standard for information security management systems jointly established by the International Organization for Standardization and the International Electrotechnical Commission.

ISO/IEC 27701 is an international standard for personal information protection management systems that, on the premise of information security management system certification, assesses whether an organisation has built internal personal information control measures to meet global standards. The company said the certification scope covers major services across the Workspia group, including JobKorea, Albamon, GameJob and NineHire.

Workspia plans to advance systematic systems to minimise data exposure risks and continue regular checks and improvement activities based on a companywide integrated management system.

Seung-ho Jeong (정승호), Workspia's chief product officer, said, "This certification is meaningful because it recognises that services such as JobKorea and Albamon within the Workspia group manage information security and personal information protection under a single integrated standard." He said, "We will continue sustained investment to strengthen security systems to create a job platform environment that both job seekers and companies can use with confidence."
