Netmarble said on Sunday it is recruiting the 26th class of its university student external activities programme, 'Marvel Challenger'.
'Marvel Challenger' is a leading game industry student supporters programme for university students who are enrolled or on leave and who have strong interest in Netmarble and games, and an understanding of new media content. A total of 235 people have completed the programme through the 25th class, and the employment rate in the game industry is about 60 percent among those eligible for employment, establishing it as a channel for developing practical talent in the industry.
Applicants should submit documents through the recruitment notice on Netmarble's official recruitment website by Aug. 10. Those selected through document screening and interviews will begin supporters activities for about six months from September 2026 to February 2027, starting with an inauguration ceremony on Aug. 28.
Selected participants will experience a broad range of practical work at a game company beyond simple promotion. This includes planning and producing new media promotional content for YouTube and Instagram, writing official blog posts and analysing trend reports. They will also be given opportunities to directly take part in planning and executing online and offline events hosted by or involving Netmarble.
Selected participants will receive a small activity stipend and opportunities for mentoring by working-level staff. All graduates who complete the programme will be issued a certificate of completion and will be given preferential treatment in document screening when applying for jobs at Netmarble in the future. They can also gain opportunities to continue activities after completion as guest writers.
Kim Dong-hwan (김동환), head of Netmarble's Creator Strategy Team, said, "Starting with promotional activities for titles to be exhibited at Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2026 in September, we will run the programme so it can develop talent for the game industry through experience participating in online and offline events and practical mentoring."
