Codegate Security Forum said on July 27 it will introduce a Global Fellowship, a key project to foster next-generation AI white-hat hackers, at the opening ceremony of "Codegate 2026" held on July 24.
Hancom Group, the organiser of Codegate, plans to support the Global Fellowship promoted by Codegate Security Forum to train AI white-hat hackers. It will take charge of creating scholarships and planning education programmes. After refining the detailed curriculum, Codegate Security Forum plans to recruit the first cohort for the fellowship in September.
Hyun-sook Cho (조현숙), chair of Codegate Security Forum, said, "As AI breaks down the boundary between defence and attack and is fundamentally changing the security landscape, what matters most is the people who will handle and control this technology properly." She added, "Codegate will identify future talent with potential and cultivate them into world-class AI security experts."
