KB Financial Group is expanding its YouTube healing content series "A Room Called by Stars" into offline performances. It takes the form of a sleep concert, with mattresses placed instead of chairs so participants can listen to live music while lying down.

KB Financial said on July 24 it will hold the first offline concert for "A Room Called by Stars" on July 26 at KB Kookmin Bank's new building in Seoul's Yeouido. "A Room Called by Stars" is a YouTube series in which K-pop artists share lullabies and stories.

So far, 21 teams including Rescene, Zerobaseone and NMIXX have appeared. The channel has about 116,000 subscribers and about 24 million cumulative views.

KB Financial said it recruited participants from July 3 to 14 among channel subscribers and customers of KB Kookmin Bank's membership service for those aged 18 to 29, called KB Star Banking Youth Club. A total of 2,420 people applied, with a competition rate of about 71 to 1.

Three teams, including Soran, Rescene and Yunmachi, will take part and perform live for about 3 hours.

Participants will receive a sleep kit consisting of pajamas and an eye mask. Snacks and drinks will also be provided through KB Financial's support program for small merchants, called KB Good Food Truck.

A KB Financial official said, "It was planned to deliver comfort to young people through music." The official added, "We plan to expand products and services that support healthy lifestyles for young customers in connection with insurance affiliates."
