KB Kookmin Bank is supporting 120 job-seeking students from vocational high schools nationwide with training on writing self-introduction letters and interview skills, as well as job placement links. It also plans to assign dedicated consultants after the camp to provide career counselling and job matching for six months.

KB Kookmin Bank said on Thursday it held the 19th job camp of the "KB Good Job Employment School", a tailored employment support programme for vocational high schools run with the Ministry of Education, the Korea Student Aid Foundation and the KB Financial Group Public Interest Foundation.

The 19th programme drew 120 vocational high school students nationwide. They attended a two-day job camp held from July 22 at KB Kookmin Bank's Ilsan training centre, receiving training including self-introduction letter consulting, interview strategies by type and mock interviews.

Two newly hired bank employees who joined KB Kookmin Bank through a special admission track for specialised high schools also took part in the camp. They shared their job preparation process and successful application experiences with the students.

After the camp ends, KB Kookmin Bank plans to assign a dedicated employment consultant to each trainee and run a six-month follow-up programme, including regular career counselling and job links to leading companies.

A KB Kookmin Bank official said, "We hope it will be an opportunity for students to design a career path that suits them and build job-search capabilities." The official added, "We will continue activities that support young people in finding jobs and entering society."
