Xiaomi Korea is launching five new AI Internet of Things (AIoT) products in South Korea, including a smart band, wireless earphones, a smartwatch and home security cameras.
Xiaomi Korea said on Thursday it will officially launch the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro, Redmi Buds 8, Xiaomi Watch S5 46mm, Xiaomi Smart Camera C500 and Xiaomi Smart Camera C701 Pro in the country.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro has a thickness of 9.7 mm and a 44.2 mm AMOLED display. It has a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits and uses an aluminium-alloy frame.
It can be used for up to 21 days in light mode. It includes a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor and sleep algorithm 2.0. It supports more than 150 sports modes and a standalone global navigation satellite system (GNSS). The recommended retail price is 99,800 won.
The Redmi Buds 8 wireless earphones support smart active noise cancelling (ANC) of up to 50 dB and broadband noise cancelling of up to 4 kHz. They include three AI microphones and an 11 mm dynamic driver.
The earbuds can be used for up to 11 hours on their own and up to 44 hours with the charging case. A 10-minute charge allows up to four hours of music playback. The recommended retail price is 62,800 won. It will be sold at a discounted price of 54,800 won until Aug. 16.
The Xiaomi Watch S5 46mm is a smartwatch weighing about 46 grams and 10.99 mm thick. It has an AMOLED display with a maximum brightness of 2,500 nits and an 815 mAh battery. It can be used for up to 21 days in light mode.
It also supports dual-band GNSS, offline maps, running posture analysis, customised running courses, ski mode and fall detection. The recommended retail price is 238,000 won, and it will be sold for 218,000 won until Aug. 16.
The Xiaomi Smart Camera C701 Pro is a home security camera that supports an ultra-wide and telephoto dual lens and up to 9x hybrid zoom. It offers 4K-level video recording and AI functions including person and pet tracking and baby-cry detection.
It increases rotation speed by 30 percent compared with the previous model, the C700. It also includes Wi-Fi 6, an AI chip, a privacy shutter, an MJA1 security chipset and local data processing. The recommended retail price is 159,800 won, and it will be sold for 149,800 won until Aug. 24.
The Xiaomi Smart Camera C500 has 3.5K ultra-high-definition (UHD) resolution and an AI chip with 1 TOPS of computing performance. It recognises people and pets and tracks them in real time, and supports privacy masking and automatic time-based masking. The recommended retail price is 64,800 won.
