Pangea Security unveiled a platform that bundles testing, deployment, version control and rollback tied to detection changes, alongside its AI agent for security operations, Figaro.

SiliconANGLE reported on Monday that Pangea presented it as a system that applies software-development-style CI/CD across security operations.

Pangea is targeting frequent change risks around security operations centres. New data sources, detections and cloud services are continually added, and upstream integrated systems can change without notice, meaning even small tweaks can break detection pipelines. When this happens, security teams can lose threat detection capability and may not immediately realise a gap has opened.

Figaro is based on a “security data lineage” structure, a graph that deterministically maps all detection flows across the security operations stack. Engineers can describe needed changes in natural language, and Figaro reads the live environment and proposes modifications. It can then validate the impact through simulation and testing before changes are applied.

Deployment is done with a single click. All changes are version-controlled, and can be rolled back in one step if needed. After deployment, continuous observability checks whether existing and new detection flows keep working as intended.

Pangea was founded in 2025 by alumni of Google’s security operations organisation and Securify. The company raised $38 million in March, including seed and Series A funding, from Team8 Capital and Ten Eleven Ventures.
